This is Najima

Najima was brought to the sanctuary in May 2019. He was gifted his name, which means ‘star’ in Arabic, after the terrorist attacks in Christchurch in March 2019. He weighed 630g when he arrived and he has a noticeably short bill. He lives out in the Paparoa Range now.
