Rehutai’s wild roroa parents are Rajah and Rani, who live near Mt Watson in the Paparoa Range. Rehutai hatched at 334 grams, and reached 640 grams before being released into the sanctuary. Rehutai travelled from Christchurch to Atarau along with Ōhonu on 24 March 2021, and the two spent a lot of time together in their first few weeks in the crèche. In our early videos of these two we cannot tell them apart.
